Shayla's Baby Shower

A family friend of ours just had the sweetest baby a few weeks ago.  I had the honor of making her baby shower cake.

The theme was giraffes and baby blue.  I wanted to make something simple and adorable.

Isn't it cute!?

The cake is covered in fondant and topped with a giraffe I made out of modeling chocolate and fondant.  The bottom is real ribbon.

I also made giraffe cookies to go as the favors. 

I love this little guy.
